In-Home Mac Support FAQs:
Q: What kind of things can you help me with?
A: We can solve pretty much any problem you are having with any one of your Apple products. You should call us right away if:
- Your email does not work
- You want to setup a new computer
- Your office looks like the snake pit from Indiana Jones because of all the wires
- Your printer is as functional as a paperweight
- You want to have oversight about what your children can do on the internet
- Or if you just want to learn more about the amazing things Macs can do.
Q: When can you come out to my house?
A: We are generally available from 9am-5pm to make house calls, however we do have a bit of flexibility. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to work with you to figure out a time that work in your schedule.
Q: What if I have a PC too?
A: We’re pretty darn good at getting PCs, Macs, and other Apple products to work with eachother, so feel free to give us a call and ask about your specific situation. We know a decent bit about PCs, even if we are Apple specialists.
Q: How much does it cost to have you come to my house?
A: We have 2 house call packages:
Basic House Call: $99 – This includes up to an hour’s worth of whatever tech support you need at your house. There are never any travel fees or hidden costs. Most all problems can be fixed in an hour or less.
Upgrade Operating System: $99 – If you computer is out of date you are more vulnerable to internet threats. Also things like flash and java all require up to date operating systems. Apple is very good at cutting off support for old hardware and software. Don’t be left behind. This takes about an hour and a half and we would be glad to come to your home or you can drop your computer off at our office in the center of Bend if that is more convenient.
Q: What area do you do housecalls in?
A: We regularly visit people all around Bend, Redmond, Tumalo, Sisters, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville, Eagle Crest, Black Butte Ranch, Camp Sherman, and anywhere in between.
Scheduling jobs in areas that require more than 30 minutes drive one-way from Bend can be more complicated and may require 1.5 or 2 hours minimum charge, though not always. Just give us a call and we’ll be happy to talk through your situation with you.
